Turmeric spot prices slipped at Erode market due to absence of upcountry orders. Indian Turmeric futures fell on profit-taking and as the Monsoon revived in key producing southern states. At the Erode Turmeric market, the finger variety was sold at Rs 4199-6417 per quintal; the root variety at Rs 4009-6299 per quintal.
