Turmeric futures in India rose more than one percent due to lower arrivals in the southern states Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu following lower production and some fresh overseas inquiries. Turmeric harvesting process is already started. Spot turmeric rose approximately Rs 3.95 to about Rs 6090.90 per quintal at Nizamabad market in the state of Andhra Pradesh.
