Turmeric futures ended down as Monsoon rains spread to interior parts of southern India, improving prospects of planting for the crop. Traders from Erode have procured little quantity as they have yet to receive fresh demand fromNorth India. At the Erode, the finger Turmeric fetched Rs 4200-6207 and the root variety Rs 3700-5849 per quintal.
