Turmeric demand is slightly improving in the domestic markets of India. Turmeric export inquiries are also likely to gain pace with the increase in new season supplies. Turmeric harvesting is started in key producing area. At Nizamabad, a key market in Andhra Pradesh state, spot turmeric rose approximately Rs 33 to Rs 5939 per quintal.
