Spot Turmeric prices declined despite lower arrivals in Erode markets due to slack upcountry orders. Only medium variety Turmeric arrived and traders and stockists procured 50 percent stocks. Because of the decreasing trend , farmers brought very limited stock and the traders quoted lower price as they have not yet upcountry demand.
