New Turmeric arrival increased in Sangli, Nizamabad and Erode markets. Turmeric futures fell on large arrivals from the new season crop and weak demand. According to spot traders, turmeric prices will slightly decline in coming days on account of high arrivals in major spot markets. Andhra Pradesh is major Turmeric producing state.
