Indian Turmeric prices increased due to demand as traders have received more upcountry orders. The current demand is likely to increase and prices may rise further. The current price at Erode spot Rs 6,500 per quintal is remunerative for farmers. Traders said if quality turmeric arrives for sale, they may quote a higher price.
