Indian turmeric futures rose, tracking firm cues from the spot market but supplies from the early-sown crop and higher carry-forward stocks limited the upside. Demand is good from overseas buyers. Local buying is also expected to stay firm in the short term. At Nizamabad, spot turmeric rose Rs 61.5 to Rs 5937.5 per quintal.
