Indian turmeric futures rose on thin supplies in the spot markets and are set to extend gains in next session on good demand from exporters. Heavy arrivals of turmeric at Nizamabad district pulled down spot prices. Turmeric prices are declining and sales have come down. This may also be due to the large-scale arrival of turmeric in Nizamabad.
