Indian turmeric futures rose on buoyant demand. Spot turmeric prices at Erode market increased due to arrival of good quality produce. Traders bought huge stocks of the turmeric to cater to the demand fromNorth Indiaand the major masala firms. The hybrid finger turmeric prices was increased by Rs 450 per quintal to Rs 7100.
