Indian turmeric futures fell on due to mounting stocks while the approaching new season supply amid lower than expected demand weighed on sentiment. Turmeric cultivation usually begins in last week of May. A lengthy harvesting process starts from Jan. Spot turmeric edged up Rs 6 to Rs 5,183 per quintal in Nizamabad.
