Indian turmeric futures fell due to profit-taking, lower export demand and large stocks. Favourable weather conditions for the sown crop are weighing on turmeric prices. Spot turmeric prices fell Rs. 17 to Rs. 5,315 per quintal in Nizamabad. Excessive rains in Andhra Pradesh, have raised concerns over the quality of the crop.
