Farmers are expecting the spot turmeric prices to touch Rs 8000 per quintal, as traders will get huge orders from North India. Indian turmeric futures also rose and may open higher in the next session as rains in Andhra Pradesh, the top cultivating state ofIndia, could delay the drying process and hit the quality of the harvested Turmeric crop.
