Tur crop in eastern India is in vegetative stage and in good condition. Central India and Karnataka, accounts for more than 60% of the national area under Tur cultivation, is set for a bumper crop this year. Crop is ready for harvest in most of the growing regions and process of harvesting is on. Ongoing rain may hamper operations to some extent in rain affected areas.
