Tur crop in eastern India is at vegetative stage and in good condition. Central India and Karnataka, which accounts for more than 60 per cent of national area under tur cultivation, is set for a bumper crop this year. Crop is ready for harvest in most of the growing regions and process of harvesting is on. Ongoing showers may hamper the operations.
