Indian sugarcane acreage has estimated to be around 5.23 million hectares during 2014-15 sugar season, down by 2 per cent, as compared with last year, Indian Sugar Mills Association (ISMA) said. ISMA has made its preliminary estimates of sugar production for 2014-15 sugar season (October 2014 to September 2015).
