Chilli crop is in fruiting stage in AP and a few reports of diseases like powdery mildew and pests like helicoverpa are reported. Chilli crop is damaged to some extent in AP early in the month. Weather in chilli growing areas is mixed, it will help crop as well as pests and diseases. Light irrigation is needed in Madhya Pradesh for proper growth of the crop.
