Weather is clear in Punjab & harvesting and threshing operations are in full swing in the region. Heavy rain affected the paddy crop at harvesting stage in parts of AP, Odisha, WB, Jharkhand and Bihar. In north India crop has reached a stage of grain formation and prevailing weather is positive. In south and east India the paddy has reached panicle initiation.
