Under clear weather in Punjab, harvesting and threshing operations are in full swing. Heavy rain affected the paddy crop at harvesting stage in parts of AP, Odisha, WB,Bihar, and Jharkhand. In north India crop has reached a stage of grain formation and prevailing weather is positive. In south and east India the paddy has reached panicle initiation to grain formation.
