The area under mustard has seen a marginal increase with higher area coverage in states such as West Bengal, Jharkhand, Bihar, Madhya Pradesh and TN. Weather in above states is favourable for the crop. However, States such as Andhra Pradesh, Rajasthan, Karnataka and Maharashtra have reported a lower coverage this year.
