Early sown Mustard is being sown in Oct-Nov in north India. Land preparations are being undertaken at many places where earlier crop is being harvested. Toria and rainfed mustard is being sown in Bihar, Jharkhand, Haryana Rajasthan and UP. Weather is good for the crop in all these states. Ample rains this year will benefit the rainfed mustard due to moisture retention in the soil.
