Urad and masoor declined at key spot markets in the country on weak demand and as festival demand came to an end. Moong traded marginally up on firm demand while Tur remained steady. According to the first Advance estimates released by the Ministry of Agriculture, kharif pulses crop for 2013-14 expected at 6 million tons against 5.9 of last year.
