The mung crop in southern states is in Pod formation to harvesting stage. Rains may be coinciding with harvesting of early sown green gram crop hence, it is advisable to collect ripen & dried pods and threshing separately. Present weather conditions sucking pest may be the problem in late sown pulses. Harvesting is being held up due to heavy rains.
