Moong crop is in Pod formation- harvesting stage in south. Rains may be coinciding with harvesting of early sown green gram crop hence, it is advisable to collect ripen and dried pods and threshing separately. Sucking pest may be the problem in late sown pulses. In Bihar and Jharkhand the crop is in maturity stage and expected rains may hamper the operations.
