In present weather condition leaf blight and sucking pest (aphids and mites) incidence was observed on summer maize crop in some parts. In present high temperature farmers are advised to give irrigation in Maize crop at the time of evening when the velocity of wind is low. Bihar is the major summer Maize producing state in India.
