In Brazil, driven by the anticipated decline in this year’s aggregate maize production, as well as strong competition from the US and Argentina, maize exports in the 2014-15 marketing year,  forecast to decline by 4 percent from the previous marketing year. This level of exports is still well above the country’s five-year average.
