Indian Jeera (cuminseed) production is expected to be higher as the area under cultivation has expanded and yields are also likely to be good because of ample Monsoon rains. Futures fell on the prospects of better crop and large stocks from the old crop. Spot Jeera edged down Rs. 6 to Rs 12,705 per quintal in Unjha, a key Jeera market.
