Supplies of the Guar seed from new harvest have increased in major spot markets in India. Indian guar seed production is expected to be higher due to an expansion in area under cultivation. Industry experts expect Indian Guar seed production to be 2.7 million tonnes in 2013, up from about 2.2 million tonnes a year earlier.
