Indian Guar seed futures rose on some lower-level buying, supported by improved demand from stockists and the food sector though expectations of higher production and large stocks capped the gains. Guar seed prices are expected to rise to around Rs 6,000 as demand is improving. At Jodhpur mandi of Rajasthan, prices fell Rs 44 to Rs 5,134 per quintal.
