Cotton crop is ready for second picking in Northern AP and is also ready for harvesting or in boll formation stage in southern AP. Cotton in many pockets has been affected due to untimely rains which should be harvested separately. Farmers may take care of the crop against fusarium wilt and sucking pests. Intercultural operations may be continued in the crop.
