Cotton crop is at boll opening stage in Karnataka. Hand picking of the cotton is on. Minor incidence of pests also reported in some areas. Cotton crop is in vegetative to flowering stage in TN and prevailing cloudy weather may pose problems of diseases and pests on the crop. Infestation at this moment is not major. Farmers may take care of the crop against fusarium wilt and sucking pests.
