Cotton arrivals were lower in major markets in Gujarat state. According to traders, overall demand over Cotton is limited due to the financial year-end. Gujarat Sankar-6 variety was traded at Rs 42300-42500 per candy of 356 kg for best quality Cotton. Prices may not rise further till the month-end as fresh demand is unlikely, said the analyst.
