Coconut oil crushers are holding huge stocks of Coconut oil with them and therefore, Copra sales were lower. Coconut oil prices increased this week on the account of lower arrivals of Copra. Copra was sold at Rs 8600-8800 per quintal in the Erode open market. Coconut oil prices could drop sharply in a month as arrivals of Copra begin to pick up.
