Indian Chana or chickpea futures hit a contract low on ample carry-forward stocks and sluggish demand. Spot Chana eased Rs 23 to 2921 per quintal inDelhi. Chickpea Stockists have become active in the market as fresh crop has started coming. Yields are likely to remain weak this season because of unfavourable weather and rains.
