Haryana state government will procure chickpea or chana at an increased Minimum Support Price (MSP) of Rs 3100 per quintal from earlier Rs 3000 per quintal for upcoming procurement season.Indiais likely to harvest 9.79 million tonnes of chickpeas in 2014 as compared with 8.88 million tonnes a year earlier due to expanded area.
