Due to rains and hailstorm in various parts of MP recently, arrival of Chickpea has been delayed. Chana ruled firm amid subdued demand and weak arrivals. Given the fact it is the harvesting season, Chana arrivals in local mandis are far from satisfactory, with only 2000-3000 bags of new chana being offloaded in local mandis.
