Chickpea or Chana ruled flat on subdued demand with prices of chana (kanta) in local market being quoted at Rs 2650-2675 per quintal. Besides traders’ fear over government’s move to ban futures trading has added to bearish sentiment in chana. Prospects for chana appears bearish in the coming days, said the trader fromIndoremarket.
