Chickpea or Chana prices in Nagpur market were shot up on renewed demand from local millers amid tight supply from producing regions. Reports about sharp decline in gram production in this season, helped to push up the prices of Chickpea. Prices firmed up in open market on good buying support from local traders amid thin supply from producing belts.
