Chickpea futures eased on subdued demand and higher supplies of poor quality grain in the key spot markets of North India. Hail storm and untimely heavy rain damaged Chana crop this year in India's main producing areas of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra state. Spot Chana prices also slightly declined in markets of MP and Maharashtra.
