Chickpea| Abundant supplies of Chickpea since beginning of 2012-13.

Abundant supplies of Chickpea since beginning of 2012-13 harvest have kept prices downside pressure. Prices even breached the MSP levels of Rs. 3000 per quintal (2012-13) last year. For 2013-14, government has increased MSP to Rs. 3100 per quintal. However, prices of Chickpea have been trading continuously below the MSP levels since last one month.
