The weather condition in North India became conducive, black pepper demand from consumer markets has increased, which increased the prices. At Kochi, prices increased by Rs 500 to Rs 72,000 for ungarbled and Rs 75,000 (garbled) per quintal. Export prices were $12,900 in Europe and $13,150 per tonne in US.
