New black pepper arrivals from Karnataka state is expected to trickle in from next week onwards in the market. In Kochi market spot prices increased further by Rs 300 to Rs 51500 (ungarbled) and Rs 53500 (garbled) per quintal on tight supply. Export prices were at $8700-8750 c&f Europe and $8950-9000 per tonne c&fUnited States.
