Kochi black pepper prices continued facing sluggishness as the reports came of pepper imports from Sri Lanka. Consequently the spot prices remained steady. Spot prices are unchanged at Rs 70000 (ungarbled) and Rs 72500 (garbled) per quintal. Export prices moved up to $12500 for Europe and $12750 a tonne for the US.
