Indian black pepper prices ruled steady on slow activity. High Range pepper was traded at Rs 735 and Rajkumari at Rs 740 per kg. At Kochi Spot market, prices remained unchanged at Rs 71,500 (ungarbled) and Rs 74,500 (garbled) per quintal. Export prices were at $12,700 for Europe and $12,950 per tonne for the United States.
