India has imported approximate 5000 tonnes of black pepper fromVietnamduring the January-May this 2014 year. Spot black pepper prices atKochimarket fell on slack demand due to the availability of imported pepper in upcountry markets. North Indian markets are flooded with imported material sold at approximate Rs 675 per kg on 30 days credit.
