A depression in the north Andaman Sea could intensify into a deep depression that could shape up as a cyclonic storm in the next 24 hours. The weather system may travel in west-northwestward direction to hit Odisha on 12th and 13th of October. The weather system currently lies about 350 km east-northeast of Portblair, 1450 km east-southeast of Paradip, 1520 km east-southeast of Visakhapatnam.Sea conditions will be rough as the cyclone may advance towards the east coast with squally winds ranging between 80 kmph and 110 kmph.
