Updated on April 28, 6:50 pm (IST):  The death toll in Nepal has now crossed 5,000. The Nepal Prime Minister, Sushil Koirala has said that the number could reach 10,000. According to the country's Emergency Operation Centre, over 10,000 people have been injured due to the massive earthquake.

Updated on April 28, 11:15 am (IST): The death toll has now climbed to 4310 and is expected to rise even further as rescue operations look for more bodies under collapsed buildings. Remote villages near the epicentre of the earthquake are still waiting for help. Roads have been blocked by mud and boulders and rescue teams are yet to reach these areas. The Nepal Army along with the Indian Air Force is working hard to speed up the operation. Fresh aftershocks continue to cause panic among the people of Nepal.

Updated on April 27, 03.15 pm (IST): The death toll in Nepal has reached 3,617. Also, more than 6,800 people have been injured so far. Delhi Sikh committees to send 25,000 food packets to Kathmandu every day. Currently, 14 Indian Air Force planes are working on evacuation in Nepal. An unmanned aerial vehicle is on its way to Nepal to provide assistance in the Nepal Quake Relief.
