Pleasant weather to continue as more rain likely in Delhi during the next 24 hours

After late night and early morning rain, Delhi is bracing up for more showers during the next 24 hours. According to the latest weather update, the Western Disturbance over Jammu & Kashmir and the cyclonic circulation over Rajasthan will continue to cause rain with strong winds in the national capital region. Due to these weather systems, southwesterly winds from the Arabian Sea will continue to feed moisture in the said region. There will again be rain late at night and early morning tomorrow.

According to Skymet Meteorology Division in India, Delhi recorded 7.4 mm of rain from 8:30 am on Thursday till 8:30 am on Friday. The average rainfall for Delhi during April is 11.5 mm and with more rain forecast, it is expected to cross the average mark.

Rain and clouds pulled down the day temperature in Delhi on Thursday by a couple of notches to record 31.6°C. The minimum temperature in Delhi also dropped and recorded18.5°C on Friday morning. Weather forecast by Skymet Meteorology Division in India suggests that both the day and night temperatures are unlikely to show a rising trend during the next two days. The maximum temperature in Delhi will remain around 30°C, while minimum will hover between 17°C and 18°C till Sunday.
