Indian Space Research Organization today successfully placed a record – 20 satellites in the earth’s orbit by carrying in its flagship rocket PSLV-C34 in a 26-minute flight from Sriharikota in Andhra Pradesh. In a single mission, this has been the maximum number of satellites that ISRO has been able to launch.
The rocket was launched from the Satish Dhawan Space Centre at Sriharikota. Till today ISRO, in 18 PSLV missions has launched 57 satellites of different foreign countries. ISRO has launched many space missions and in most of what ISRO has achieved is by indigenous space launch technologies. A lesson that leading space agencies of the world must look up to the great Indian space agency.
