Country’s beloved space organization – Indian Space Research Organization is in its final phase of launching 22 satellites in the outer space at once. Yes, in one mission, ISRO plans to achieve this mammoth of a task.
ISRO plans to launch PSLV-C34 by June end that weighs 710kgs. Among the 22 satellites on board - 2 Nano-satellites will be also on board which are developed by Indian universities. Swayam and Satyabamasat were developed by College of Engineering in Pune and Satyabama University, Chennai respectively.
The world record for maximum number of satellites launched in one rocket is with Russia. They launched 32 satellites aboard its DNEPR launch vehicle in 2013. This is the first time when ISRO will be carrying such load, previous one being 10 satellites, and that too back in 2008.
The rocket PSLV-C34 will also be carrying 19 satellites from four other countries. Two satellites are from Canada weighing 115 kg, three from Germany weighing 155 kg, one from Indonesia weighing 120 kg, and 13 satellites from USA weighing 195 kg.
